Lavori Relizzati

Lavori Realizzati (Realized Works) source visual material created by labor outside of the art world.
For this project I make charcoal rubbings of shapes found on Italy’s asphalt sidewalks; shapes that are the result of construction work and have been determined by both the workers’ objectives as well as their personal decisions. Using photographs of the rubbings I then create visual compositions.
